About the Role

As a Strata Insurance Account Manager at Schill Insurance, you provide the highest level of service to our clients. You see opportunities, find solutions, and create a positive environment for everyone around you.

Responsibilities:

• Provide friendly and professional service to customers, and members of the team
• Provide Property Managers and Strata Councils with prompt service by providing advice and assisting the partied on understanding the different coverage forms, limits, and deductibles.
• Objectively frontline underwrite new and renewal business according to company guidelines.
• Manage renewals in a timely and pro-active manner adhering to the timelines and requirements set forth by the Insurance Council of British Columbia.
• Complete policy wording reviews, research information for our clients to ensure needs are addressed
• Sourcing and obtaining additional information requested by the underwriter and completing applications
• Process policy renewals, endorsements and cancellations in accordance with established procedures.
• Proactively contact Property Managers or Strata Councils regarding renewal increases and re-market as necessary to meet the clients needs and retain their business
• Review and compare quotations received to ensure accuracy and outline any coverage restrictions
• Maintain up to date client records in Epic recording pertinent conversations etc. so that co-workers may access the information to better serve the client in the future.
• Review the expiry lists 90 days in advance and determine the following: which accounts should be sent to market, what information is required by insurers for renewals
• Produces written client correspondence professionally and in accordance with guidelines of Schill Insurance.
• Acquire, maintain and upgrade technical skills and personal knowledge of insurance products.

As an Autoplan Batcher at Schill Insurance, you role is vital in ensuring that all ICBC requirements are met and that any documents that are submitted to ICBC, are checked for accuracy and sent in a timely manner.

Responsibilities

• Batching documents in the Policy Centre – No later than 2 days after document is processed
• Balancing cash/billing with ICBC
• Cross referencing and checking accuracy of documents sent to ICBC
• Managing daily float
• Maintaining accuracy of cheque log
• Autolink batching
• Daily banking
• Deposit slips filed and attached to completed batches
• Filing documents
• Communication and follow-up with agents who have outstanding documents
• Assist with internal and external audits, as needed
• Provide customer service support as needed at the front counter.
